KNIGHTON HISTORIC VEHICLE CLUB EVENTS FOR 2008

JANUARY 9th COMMITTEE MEETING
To be held at The Knighton Hotel at 8.00pm. If you would like to include or organise an event for 2008, please come to the meeting or alternatively contact one of the Committee Members, with your ideas.

JANUARY 20th SUNDAY LUNCH
This will be at The Station Inn at Marshbrook, situated on the A49 between Craven Arms and Church Stretton.

JANUARY 31st AGM
To be held at The Knighton Hotel at 8.00pm sharp.
Please do your best to attend as this is an important and interesting club event. Nomination slips were included in your Newsletter.

FEBRUARY 14th
KHVC Committee Meeting at 7.00pm followed by CLUB NIGHTat 8.00pm
To be held at The Knighton Hotel

MARCH 13th CLUB NIGHT
This will be a meal at The Knighton Hotel Please note the earlier time of 7.00pm.

APRIL 6th SUNDAY LUNCH AND TEN PIN BOWLING
Ten Pin Bowling and Sunday Lunch at The Hickory Stick Restaurant at the Grove Golf Club, Nr. Leominster. Meet at 11.00am to bowl from 11.30 to 12.30 and work up an appetite for lunch at 1.00pm. There is a very nice bar and spectator area for those not wishing to bowl.

Please note that we need to know numbers and menu choices as soon as possible, but definately by April 1st. Bowling costs £4.30 per person lunch is £14.95 for three courses or £11.50 for two courses.

THURSDAY APRIL 10th CLUB QUIZ NIGHT
Quiz about vintage tools at The Knighton Hotel at 8.00pm. This looks like being an interesting/fun evening, organised by new member Henry Morgan,try and come, alot of effort goes into organising these quiz nights and the more the merrier.

SUNDAY APRIL 20th NATIONAL DRIVE IT DAY
A special three in one event has been arranged starting with a 30 mile run from Knighton to Wyevale Garden Centre at Hereford, where we will hold a Classic Car Show and have Sunday Lunch in the Wyevale Restaurant.
All members should have received a letter and entry form recently.
Please note that if you would like lunch you must book it through Derek or Cedric no later than April 13th
All clubs and individuals are welcome, please book using the printable ENTRY FORM 1 which you can print off from our list of numerous entry forms.

MAY 17th TO 25th CLASSIC CAR TOUR TO FRANCE

This 2008 Classic Car Tour to France touring parts of Brittany and Normandy is being organised by Bob and Karyn. Due to popular demand, places for this tour are now fully booked.

KINSHAM CLASSICS OF YESTERYEAR SHOW, to be held at the Arkwright Hall, Kinsham Nr. Presteigne.
From 2.00pm until 6.00pm. This is a super little show with Classic cars, Commercials, Buses, Tractors, Stationary Engines and Motor Cycles.
